Full Cancellation Policy

During non-holiday and non-summer time periods, please note the Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC cancellation policy is as follows: 

 

Boarding at Theresa’s home or Overnight stays at the client’s home:
  • Reservations are held free of charge until 30 days prior to the start of service.
  • 30 days prior to the first day of service:  50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due to the Company to secure final booking.  Failure to make the deposit on time will result in cancellation of the reservation.
  • 7-29 days notice of cancellation: 50% Deposit is non-refundable. Remaining balance will be canceled.
  •  6 or fewer days notice: FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.
In-home care in Client’s home, or services with at least two visits per day or with two or more days of consecutively booked services:
  • 8 or more days’ notice for cancellation prior to reservation: FREE CANCELLATION.
  • 4-7 days’ notice for cancellation:  50 % OF TOTAL FEES FOR SERVICES BOOKED ARE PAID TO PAF LLC 
  • 3 or fewer days’ notice for cancellation: FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.
Dog Walking/  In-home visits (not including travel care multiple-day consecutive bookings):
  • 24 hour notice for cancellation prior to reservation: FREE CANCELLATION.  (Cancellation requests made at or after 5pm the day before are considered “same day” cancellations)
  • Day of Service notice for cancellation: FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.

During major national holidays and the summer period between June 1-Sept 10 or for any pet sitting reservations that are longer than 20 days in length, Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC cancellation policy is as follows:

 

Boarding at Theresa’s home or Overnight stays at the client’s home:
  • Reservations are held free of charge until 60 days prior to the start of service.
  • 60 days prior to the first day of service:  50% non-refundable deposit is due to the Company to secure final booking.  Failure to make the deposit will result in cancellation of the reservation.
  • 14-59 days notice of cancellation:  50% Deposit is non-refundable. Remaining balance will be canceled.
  • 13 or fewer days notice: FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.
In-home care in Client’s home, or services with at least two visits per day or with two or more days of consecutively booked services:
  • 15 or more days’ notice for cancellation prior to reservation: FREE CANCELLATION.
  • 7-14 days’ notice for cancellation: 50 % OF TOTAL FEES FOR SERVICES BOOKED ARE PAID TO PAF LLC
  • 6 or fewer days’ notice for cancellation:  FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.

Minimal visit policy:  Dogs reserved for pet sitting require a minimum of 3 visits per day unless they have 24-hour access to a secured area to use the bathroom, then the Company may agree to two visits per day, upon approval of the conditions of the bathroom access.  Cats and small pets are required to have at least one 15 minute visit per day while in the care of the Company.  Travel plans must be communicated to the Company prior to departure to make sure a pet is not alone in the home more than 12 hours past the Client’s stated return date and time.  The Company is not responsible for the Client’s pet care after the final visit is completed.  Additional visits may be needed if the Client is delayed in returning home to ensure the pet is safe and has access to water, food, and sanitary bathroom use.

 

Early Return to Home or Late Departure from Home:
Reservations are made to plan for sitter availability for Client’s reservation dates. Therefore, Clients returning home early or departing later than the reservation will be required to pay for the full reservation amount of time, regardless of whether Client returned home early or departed later than the prior reservation scheduled. No amount of money will be refunded to Client for early returns to home or late departures from home by Client after a reservation date has been agreed upon and booked in the Time to Pet system.
 
Payment Policy / Cancellation Policy:
All payments for recurring and ongoing pet sitting is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Invoices are located in Time to Pet and reviewable at any time. Invoice disputes must be resolved prior to the first date of service and be put in writing to the owner, Theresa Johnson. Unpaid Invoices are sent out to clients via email within 3 days of the last day of each month. Unpaid invoices past due by 8 days or longer will be charged a 10% penalty of the total invoice due for that month. Failure to pay an invoice will result in legal action taken by the company and the company will no longer provide services to the client. Client accounts may be closed for a pattern of late invoice payments. PAF LLC currently accepts cash, local checks, Zelle, and credit cards directly paid via Time to Pet by Stripe. Requests for auto-payment of invoices should be made at the meet and greet or in writing to the company.
