What makes PAF “professional"?
Pets are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC is licensed to operate a business with Fairfax County local government. It is fully insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas. The owner and operator, Theresa Johnson, is trained in Pet CPR and First Aid, is certified pet sitter through National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, and is a Fear Free Certified Professional. Service Agreements are signed by both parties – the client and the owner- to create a professional working relationship based on a set of agreed upon services, policies and procedures for booking services, modifying or canceling services, and issues of liability.
How do I make a payment?
As a client, you will have 24-7 access to your open payments on Time to Pet. This software is used by all clients to request services, communicate with the company, and view and pay invoices.
You have the option of paying via credit card directing on your Time to Pet Account.
Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services also accepts direct Zelle transfers as described on your invoice.
Cash and checks are also accepted directly to the owner.
When are payments due?
Invoices are due within 7 days of the end of service period (vacation care and boarding clients) or at the end of the month (monthly dog walk clients).
Services will not continue without payment.
Invoices may be charged late payment fees when past due by 7 days or more.
Failure to keep in good standing with invoice payments will be litigated as necessary.
Can I split the work with a family member and the company?

Can I book visits every other day for my cats?
Can you give my pets medications?
Any pets requiring medications to be administered in a specific way (insulin injections, for example) must have a paid consultation visit prior to the start of any booked visits that will include medication administration. This is required so that the pet guardian can demonstrate how best to administer the required medications, how and where the medications are stored, and the sitter has an opportunity to observe the pet while medications are being given.
How will I know my pet has been visited?
Boarding clients will receive one visit report per day each evening of boarding.
Should I let the company know if anyone else will be coming to my home while I’m away?
Pets Are Family Pet Sitting Services LLC reserves the right to discontinue services at any time if the sitter feels unsafe entering a home with unknown people.
